Job Description : Purpose: The Customer Marketing organization in PEBAC comprises of Shopper Marketing, Category Development, Sales Capabilities and Business Intelligence to deliver: World-class shopper understanding and insights Compelling category strategies Support for outstanding customer collaboration Value creating Category development Effective shopper marketing to support Winning at the moment of choice. Customer-focused planning, activation and execution. Business performance management: KPI’s definition and tracking. The Reserve Customer Marketing Manager PEBAC works with Marketing, Sales, Customer Marketing,





Distributors and Customers to identify the channel and category opportunities to guarantee outstanding physical availability and disproportionate sell out growth. She/He will develop the standardized guidelines on Commercial Execution Standards/EDGE, to be delivered to the countries complying with global standards. The incumbent will also work closely with CP&A;, Shopper Marketing and Shopper Planning to uncover and leverage new growth opportunities. Provides insights from tracking tool to drive learnings back into the wider business and course correct and action plan impacting the capabilities in the local market to drive depletion growth. Market Context: PEBAC is a business unit formed by 5 countries (Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, Argentina & Chile) with similar market contexts, trends and opportunities across them. Its ambition is to change the way consumers celebrate in those countries. For delivering our ambition the focus is in: reinforce our consumer recruitment strategy, consolidate our portfolio to face local spirits and beer competition for recruiting wiser, simplify our operating model that can cope with usual environmental volatility, route to consumer partners willing to integrate and create superior holistic value and flexible organization with an integrated winning and productive mindset while transforming the way we work with Distributors, to generate efficient, profitable and reliable growth through mastering and being best in class in Distributors’ partnership. PEBAC main pillars are: Focus, Agility & Scale to Transform Growth. Focus on CGT (Casual Get Together) and SO (Special Occasions) Occasions, defining what matters for consumers, customers and shoppers and maximize execution rather than development; Agility to discipline and processes to speed decisions through, true sell-out to outperform competition on shelves and fast learning to maximize investments and growth; Scale: great platforms executed brilliantly, join up with partners to expand footprint and ROI and to build a recruiting machine, every day everywhere. Decision Making: Influences decision making on the depicting of the annual Commercial Execution Standards/”EDGE” plan and the related tracking tool across PEBAC. Supports and ensures all countries comply with the Scorecard and BPM information defined to report timely. Influences commercial action planning to course correct KPI performance with fact based insights generated through execution data analysis. Financial Responsibility: Owns and track A&P; budget for content generation of guidelines and follows A&P; spend for tracking tools. Manage own T&E; budget and is expected to adhere to all related policies, and to not exceed its assigned budget. Leadership Responsibility: The role reports to the Head of Customer Marketing, PEBAC and has a strong relationship with CP&A; Managers in the countries. The incumbent needs to influence sales and customer marketing teams internally in country and mentor Distributor personnel to make them feel like an extension of the Diageo PEBAC organization to own the Commercial Execution Standards/EDGE agenda with passion. Great relationship builder with different stakeholders internally and externally. He/she will be exposed to demanding senior leaders and thus need to show confidence and drive at all levels. Lead the translation of strong thinking and understanding on shopper, category and channel/customer into propositions that win at the moment of choice The role has no direct reports but has to influence in country teams, distributors as other key stakeholders within PEBAC. Key Outputs/Deliverables: Collaborate with commercial teams to grow our categories and the share of our brands with their customers. Understands the channel and category strategies finding common ground vision and objectives. Owns and ensures the Commercial Execution Standards/EDGE guidelines and sign off´s Responsible for ensuring the outlet segmentation in key countries is reviewed and up to date at least annually to reflect market changes and business potentials. He/she is responsible to deliver monthly performance management reports for Execution Standards/EDGE and analysis/insights to define when corrective actions are needed following them through to completion. Supports capability development in the CMO organization both internally and with our partners to achieve our Commercial Execution Standards/EDGE in the POS at scale. Responsible for providing standardized planograms for the Commercial Planning & Activation teams, in order for them to ruthlessly focus on executing brilliantly with our customers. Inspires and energizes all our commercial teams, leaders, distributors, customers to plan, execute, measure brilliantly Ensures full compliance with CARM, Diageo Code of Business Conduct, DMC and other key Diageo policies. Performs other related duties as assigned. Qualifications and Experience Required Bachelor’s Degree required in Business or related field. Fluent English and Spanish required. Minimum 5 years of experience in sales and /or customer marketing /trade marketing, shopper marketing areas with specific experience on distributor based businesses. Good understanding about how the total sales organization operates and how to drive its effectiveness. Experience creating alignment across our consumer, shopper and customer agendas. Proven experience leading, coaching teams (own and/or indirect) and effective while working cross-functionally. Ability to work around and within a variety of different market conditions and demographic factors. Strong analytical and presentation skills. Strong influencing, negotiation and collaboration skills, with a range and adaptability of style. Good planning, organization and project management skills. Proactive, self-starter. Ability to manage complexity/ambiguity Excellent knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
