Responsibilities



1- Achieve financial success in the Region (70% of the time spent) Lead, manage, and develop the overall performance of the organization, collaborating with Global and Regional leaders to set strategy for the current and future product portfolio, and developing tactical plans to achieve commercial objectives. Deliver sales and profits within agreed budgets, provide effective leadership of Region’s business divisions, functional groups, and cross functional support teams (sales, marketing, medical, business operations, customer services, etc.) across integrated initiatives. Develop and maintain relationships with senior external stakeholders, thought leaders, government,





partners and develop stakeholder management strategies that ensure long-term business success. Work with the Regional team to proactively shape the country market environment, defend and improve the company’s market position and depth of market access by developing strong, trust-based relationships with customers and stakeholders (especially regulators and healthcare associations, patient groups, customers, media, key accounts, and KOLs). Partner with Global and Regional team members to lead Congress / Events Management strategy aligned with corporate brand and communication guidelines. Lead the strategic planning, annual commercial brand planning, and cross-functional product launch planning processes in the Region. Lead business analytics & forecasting and commercial performance assessment (KPIs, ROI) for the Latam business, including driving appropriate market research and competitive intelligence activities to close knowledge gaps, inform strategic direction, anticipate customer needs. 2. Contribute to broader International strategies for Customer Experience, Geo-expansion, and Demand Management (15% of the time spent) In partnership with senior leadership, support opportunity identification, market assessment, and business case development for geo-expansion in the Region. Contribute to International approach for “industry-leading” Customer Experience Strategy and Demand Management strategies and processes. Leverage the International Customer Experience Strategy to develop a comprehensive customer experience roadmap for Latam with a clear understanding and considerations of Seqirus internal capabilities and plans to fill gaps. Develop superior customer-focused initiatives and associated KPI measurements that drive sales and improve customer experience in line with the Latam customer experience roadmap. 3. Contribute as a leader in the Distributor & Emerging Markets Cluster (15% of the time spent) This role will be a member of the Distributor & Emerging Markets Leadership Team Lead, inspire, and engage with passion by modeling Seqirus and CSL values Strengthen country organization by developing an excellence-oriented and customer-focused culture, fostering innovation, and building best-in-class teams that fully exploit all market opportunities, and internal systems, programs, and tools. Drive top-level talent acquisition, succession planning and development of all team members within the country. Actively coach and partner with direct reports to build and implement their development plans, conduct their performance appraisal discussions plans and develop appropriate monitor and control mechanisms, rewards and incentives. Actively participate in Global cluster and Regional management meetings, input country needs into global and regional strategic decisions, and gather best practices for use by country functions Serve as a member of GPLT or other company forums representing Latin America as applicable. Act as head and public face of the company country organization in each market, ensuring legal and ethical conduct, corporate compliance, and adherence to company guidelines and procedures. Ensure implementation of promotional and communication policies in accordance with local regulation and corporate guidelines. In partnership with senior leadership, act as a key relationship manager for local distributor/partner agreements in the Region, acting in support of Seqirus / CSL company strategies and values. Qualifications: University degree required Master’s degree preferable in health, life science and /or marketing discipline, preferably with post-graduate qualifications (MBA, Business or Science). Fluent in Spanish and English language both verbal and written. 5 years or more experience in senior commercial positions 10 years or more commercial experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in the human vaccine market, in a range of sales, marketing and/or business development positions with a proven track record and P&L; responsibility.
