About the position:Jones Lang LaSalle is currently seeking a dynamic individual for the role of a Consultant to join our Portfolio Strategy team based out of Buenos Aires Argentina. The position entails working with a diverse group of internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization. The individual will require independent judgment to plan, prioritize, and organize diverse workload. This role provides a wide variety of support and client facing activities within the consulting team on diverse projects throughout Latin America.
Responsibilities:The Consultant will work on consulting real estate projects with high exposure to client facing activities. This role will take part in the elaboration of portfolio strategies, complex financials and other qualitative analyses. The candidate will be required to work independently or as part of a team, with limited supervision. The ideal applicant will be requested to consistently demonstrate attention to detail and high level of client service, maturity, poise, self:confidence, and sound judgment.
Proactively identify problems and implement problem:solving resolutions with limited supervision
Work closely with the client to secure its project approach buy:in. Follow up on information requests, next steps and make sure client feedback is considered and integrated into the financial model and selected strategy
Day:to:day project and client relationship management. High level exposure to client facing activities
Compile and analyze multi:source data for client business review presentations using both internal and external sources
Identify and analyze main business indicators for companies in different sectors across multiple countries throughout Latin America
Write working documents and presentations, and be able to present logically findings and draft recommendations
Develop quantitative financial analyses that contribute to the problem structuring process, optimization assessments and scenario comparison
Engaging with local teams throughout LatAm for market research and actively seek opportunities to share best practices across the organization
Maintain high level of confidentiality
Take part of Business Development efforts
Requirements:University degree with a strong record of high academic achievement. Preferred background but not limited to: economics, business administrations, engineering, etc
Fluent in Spanish and English is a must. Portuguese is a nice to have
At least 3 years of applicable experience in a corporate environment (ideally in consulting)
Strong organization skills to manage multiple priorities with short deadlines
Strong prioritization skills to manage high volumes of workload, multitask, work successfully under pressure, and effectively manage to meet deadlines
Strong ability to work both autonomously with limited direction and as part of a team
Strong communication skills. Ability to translate complex ideas into simple explanations.
Strong financial, analytical and reporting skills
Strong aptitude to analyze qualitative and quantitative information
Strong willingness to take on new challenges, responsibilities and assignments
Exceptional attention to detail (spelling, grammar and punctuation)
Strong ability to work with a wide variety of client personalities and hierarchies (analyst to C:suit)
