Ramada Resort by Wyndham Dead Sea is now seeking a Sales Manager to join our team in Jordan.
Job SummaryThe Sales Manager is responsible for maximizing all sales opportunities through a structured, proactive approach to develop the business in order to achieve/exceed the Hotel's Sales & Marketing Plan. The Sales Manager is a self-starter, with confidence in B2B selling and presenting to clients of all levels. You will be a natural "closer" and not shy in asking for the business to keep in line with your performance targets.






DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESMain DutiesSecures and develops new local business and grows existing accounts for the hotel, keeping in line with agreed market sectors and annual budgets.Supports the hotel in appointment making, local/international sales, reporting, and in-house responsibilities.Positively approaches all sales opportunities to maximize sales revenue and exceed budgeted sales targets/objectives.Prepares the hotel's annual business plans and rolling 3-month sales plans in line with hotel budgets. Researches and identifies new rooms and conference business.Creates and maintains contact with regular and new clients, developing strong local product and competitor knowledge.Follows all company guidelines and sales disciplines when meeting with clients.Monitors local companies' performance each month, reviewing performance for the top-performing accounts.Attends and presents at monthly hotel sales meetings and regional/national meetings,





and weekly meetings with the Director of Sales.Other DutiesAchieves and exceeds set objectives at monthly sales meetings and business reviews.Prepares and submits rate tenders/RFPs on behalf of the hotel/group.Monitors local companies and planning authorities to take advantage of new business opportunities.Organizes and carries out client entertaining, show rounds, and FAM trips for key bookers and main decision-makers.Attends and implements actions resulting from 1:1s and annual performance reviews.Complies with all company and statutory requirements for fire, hygiene, health & safety procedures.SKILLS & COMPETENCIESBusiness AcumenSelf-driveCommunicationNetworkingNegotiationImpact & InfluenceAmbitionEnergyEducation & ExperienceHospitality Management bachelor's degree.Minimum of 3-5 years' experience as a Sales Manager in a hotel with strong references.Fluency in English and Arabic (written and spoken).Vacancy is open to Jordanian Nationals only.Previous experience working in Jordan is required.Strong understanding of the Jordan market.COMPANY OVERVIEW: Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is the world's largest hotel franchising company by the number of properties with approximately 9,200 hotels across over 95 countries on six continents.
