We are seeking a skilled and motivated Infrastructure Engineer to join the team of one of our clients, a multinational company in the consumer goods sector.
What you´ll do
You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our IT infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
What do we value?
People with experience in GCP and knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC, using Terraform,
Ansible, Kubernetes, or any related IaC technologies). Knowledge of Middleware (mainly Websphere and Weblogic) and experience in cloud migration and deployment will also be appreciated
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions to support business operations.
- Regularly monitor and maintain infrastructure components, including servers, networks, and storage systems, to ensure high availability and performance.
- Implement and manage security measures to protect the infrastructure from cyber threats and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Diagnose and resolve infrastructure-related issues promptly to minimize downtime and service disruptions.
- Work closely with other IT teams and departments to integrate infrastructure solutions with existing systems and support new projects.
- Maintain detailed documentation of infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve infrastructure efficiency and effectiveness
Necessary skills and experience required:
· More than 5 years of experience in the role.
· Advanced English
· Deeper understanding of various application servers like WebLogic, WebSphere, jboss, IIS, Apache and other Java technologies on Windows and Linux operating systems.
· Experience in the latest offerings like cloud migration, cloud deployment, SAAS, PAAS, IAAS etc.
· Knowledge of monitoring tools like DataDog
· Experience on various Cloud deployment
· Infrastructure as a code tools, provisioning tools and cloud monitoring tools usage and administration is mandatory.
· Strong Debug skills
· Linux and Window experience
· Knowledge of GCP Cloud,
Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is nice to have
Shift: 8AM to 5PM CTS (US Central Time)
